VOLUNTEER POLICY & ADVOCACY COORDINATOR/ CIRCLE KEEPER
Suzanne Blasi, Esq., has been involved with TPP since meeting Armand, Bobby & Noble in her first Phase training in 2020, and somehow we've convinced her to stick around! Suzanne has enjoyed participating in training efforts over the last five years and supporting TPP's mission to remake and replace the criminal justice system with community and compassion. In 2024, Suzanne joined TPP's effort to introduce legislation to end Lifetime Parole for Transformational Youth and Emerging Adults. Suzanne currently supervises the interns TPP has brought on to research and support TPP's legislative and policy efforts. She finds real joy in introducing undergraduate and graduate students to the principles of Restorative Justice and community-based efforts to repair harm.
In addition to working with TPP, Suzanne is also a case coordinator for Communities for Restorative Justice, where she works to extricate juveniles and young adults from the criminal system and address the harm they have caused with restorative justice principles. Suzanne graduated with High Distinction from The Pennsylvania State University in 1992 with a BA in Political Science and graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in 1995 with a JD. Suzanne is a founding member of the 12-time National Champion Penn State Women's Rugby Football Club. She is a corporate lawyer in the high-tech field with experience in mergers and acquisitions, employment issues, contracts and governance issues and has worked at NEC, Stratus Technologies, Ascend Corp., Lucent and Sycamore Networks. Suzanne enjoys vacations with her family to tropical locations, watching rugby and cheering on her beloved Nittany Lions. We feel soooo lucky to call Suzanne a TPP champion and part of the family!
