A MESSAGE FROM OUR NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, NOBLE WILLIAMS
It is with deep humility and a profound sense of responsibility that I step into the role of Executive Director at the Transformational Prison Project (TPP). This organization has long been a beacon of hope, healing, and justice, and I am honored to continue the legacy of transformative work that so many have courageously built before me.
As someone who has experienced the carceral system firsthand, I understand both the pain it inflicts and the power of community-led healing. TPP was founded on the radical belief that those closest to the problem are also closest to the solution. I carry that truth with me every day. Our mission to center the voices and leadership of system-impacted people is not just a strategy — it’s a necessity for meaningful change.
In this next chapter, I am committed to expanding our reach, deepening our impact, and continuing to challenge the structures that perpetuate harm. Together, we will foster spaces where accountability is rooted in empathy, where healing is collective, and where justice is truly transformational.
To our community, our partners, and our supporters: thank you for believing in this work. I invite you to join me as we reimagine what’s possible — not just for those who have been incarcerated, but for all of us.
With gratitude and purpose,
Noble Williams
